This distinctive BIASCA Iced Tea Jug by BODUM® is named after a small town located in the south of Switzerland where it gets unusually warm during otherwise chilly summers. For locals, cold brewed green tea provides exactly the energy kick needed after hiking in the nearby mountains. To recreate this experience at home, place a desired amount of green tea leaves in the BIASCA jug and fill it with cold water. Let it steep over night. Add ice cubes and sugar, as desired, the next day. The BIASCA features a filter that is integrated into the lid designed to keep the green tea leaves in the jug when pouring tea. The BIASCA can also be used to create refreshing infused water and other infused drinks. Additionally, the lid sits tightly on the jug’s opening to properly store beverages.
The BIASCA jug is made of heat-resistant, ultra-light borosilicate glass and does not get cloudy in the dishwasher, even after repeated use. The removable lid is made of plastic with a silicone gasket and an integrated, finely meshed plastic filter. The jug has a capacity of 1.2l (40oz) and measures 27 cm (10.6“) high. glass is handmade by expert artisans. Because this glass is mouth-blown, each one may have slight differences in height, thickness & weight.

How can I use it?
The BODUM® BIASCA Iced Tea Jug makes brewing iced tea quick, easy and stylish.
1. Place five tablespoons of your favorite tea into the jug.
2. Fill the jug with cold water.
3. Allow the tea to steep over night.
4. Allow the tea to cool further in the refrigerator or serve over a glass of ice.
TIP: Try different brewing methods. You can make stronger or lighter tea by adjusting the amount of tea used in the brewing process.
Note: The BIASCA Iced Tea Jug can also be used to make other infused drinks from fruit juices to Sangria or water. Try the following recipe for refreshing infused water:

BODUM® INFUSED WATER
1. Add a few slices of orange, lemon, lime, cucumber, or strawberries into the jug. (most citrus fruits make delicious infused water but you can use your imagination).
2. Fill the jug with ice.
3. Add cold water and let it sit for 5 minutes.
5. Cover it with the lid.
6. Serve - the lid with the integrated filter will keep the fruit slices within the jug.
7. You can refill the jug with water several times before changing the fruit.
